Privacy Policy

Effective 29 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Omnivision Solutions Ltd, a UK limited company trading as AnswerBella ("AnswerBella", "we", "us", or "our"), handles personal information when salons use our website and phone receptionist service.

Information we collect

We collect information that salon customers provide to us, information created when Bella handles a call, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

  • Account and contact details, such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers, salon details, and billing information.
  • Call information, which may include telephone numbers, audio recordings where enabled, call transcripts, messages, appointment requests, and call summaries.
  • Calendar and integration data needed to check availability, create or change appointments, and send confirmations.
  • Website and service data, such as device information, IP address, browser type, log data, and cookie or similar technology data.
  • Support communications and feedback you send to us.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, configure, maintain, and improve the AnswerBella service.
  • Answer calls, take messages, manage appointments, send texts, and provide call records at the salon’s direction.
  • Process payments, administer accounts, and provide customer support.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent fraud or misuse, and protect the security of our service.
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, and communicate important service updates.

For call, client, and appointment information processed for a salon, the salon generally decides why and how that information is used and AnswerBella acts as its service provider or processor. Salons are responsible for giving their clients any required privacy notices and obtaining any consent required for call recording or messaging.

Where we decide how information is used, we rely on the performance of our contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with vendors that help us provide hosting, telephony, messaging, calendar integrations, analytics, support, and payment processing. These providers may use information only to perform services for us under appropriate contractual safeguards.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transaction, or when the relevant salon or individual directs us to do so.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and account settings. Salons may request deletion of service data subject to legal retention requirements.

We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual clauses.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

If your information was handled on behalf of a salon, contact that salon first. We will assist the salon in responding to valid requests.

Cookies and children

We use essential technologies needed to operate and secure the website. If we add non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will provide any consent controls required by law.

AnswerBella is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through account registration.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised version here with a new effective date. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. For product support, email [email protected].
